| Comment | Sample is grayish brown vitric vitrophyric tuff with common, small dark gray tiny pumice, generally to 2 mm, but with one clast to 8 mm. Common felsic phenocrysts are very conspicuous quartz to 4 mm and feldspar to 3 mm. Scarce to common mafics are almost entirely black biotite to 1 mm, but a single 1 mm green clinopyroxene was observed. No lithics were observed. |
