| Comment | Sample is pinkish gray quartzo-feldspathic nonwelded tuff with scattered crystal-rich lenses, indicating reworking. Scarce to common pumice to 11 mm has been mostly dissolved, with coarse granular secondary felsics coating surfaces of these voids. Common felsic phenocrysts to 1.2 mm include quartz. Black to bronze biotite to 0.6 mm is rare, and lithics to 4 mm are scarce to common. |
