| Comment | Sample is brownish gray devitrified densely welded tuff with common dark gray pumice to 15/1 mm and common to abundant feldspar phenocrysts. Scarce mafics include vitreous black olivine with iridescent, slightly altered fractured faces and black to very dark green clinopyroxene; three large grains of biotite were observed. Scarce lithics to 3 mm include plutonic clasts. |
