| Comment | Sample of cuttings is very light brownish gray devitrified moderately welded tuff with scarce to common white, coarsely crystalline pumice to 10/1 mm and common to abundant phenocrysts of feldspar, some, probably sanidine, partly altered with white, sugary cores, and others completely altered to a sugary white assemblage, probably secondary feldspar. Common biotite to 1 mm is highly bronzed. Some tiny pyrite is disseminated. |
