| Comment | Sample is moderate reddish orange moderately well sorted nonwelded tuff with common to abundant white pumice, mostly 1 to 3 mm, and rare pale grayish red pumice. Scarce to common mafics are pseudomorphs of olivine and clinopyroxene, tiny biotite, much in pumice, and hornblende. Lithics are scarce. Quartz phenocrysts are evident. |
