| Comment | Sample is moderately well sorted nonwelded tuff with abundant, indistinct white to grayish yellow pumice. Scarce to common mafics are hornblende and much lesser biotite, with two grains of green clinopyroxene observed, one mantled by hornblende. Common felsic phenocrysts include conspicuous quartz. Lithics are scarce. |
