| Comment | Flow-banded rhyolite, Tonopah Formation. This rhyolite intrudes pyroclastic rocks of the Tonopah Formation sample TF-2. The time span between the extrusive and intrusive phases seems long 11 m.y.; however, there is no geologic reason to doubt either age. |
