Comment	Virginia Range, Nevada [Flowery Range, SE 1/4, NE 1/4, NE 1/4, SE 1/4, Sec 23 T18N, R23E, resistent outcrop approx. 150' below summit of hill on south-trending ridge.] Stretched and lineated devitrified lower phase, showing some flow folds on outcrop scale, but pyroclastic texture remains evident. Structure and stratigraphic position unclear, but this section may be as much as 300 meter thick. Groundmass is totally recrystallized, virtually obliterating shard texture.
